YEMEN PLEDGING CONFERENCE, 26 FEBRUARY 2019 - JOINT INGO MESSAGES

Since the escalation of conflict in Yemen almost four years ago, the humanitarian needs have increased drastically, with an estimated 24 million people or 80 per cent of the population in need of some form of humanitarian assistance in 2019. This figure represents an increase of 2 million people or 10 per cent in just 12 months.

SAHEL: PRIORITIES FOR RESILIENCE AND DEVELOPMENT

Action Against Hunger, Oxfam and Save the Children reiterate the urgency of strengthening humanitarian and development responses and the civilian protection and putting them at the heart of regional priorities.
